Getronics is taking the lead with the top 500 accounts as well as the data centers, corporate solutions, outsourcing and other units, the company manages a large product portfolio and has a very coherent go-to market approach. Getronics has strong existing contacts into the corporate and government segments which are ripe for cross-selling, up-selling, lowering TCO and improving customer experience in a way that competitors would have a very tough time to match. Competitors with ad hoc partnerships cannot offer a similar single contract, contact, SLA, and service delivery model that Getronics-KPN can.
Getronics has a strong workspace management offering, Future Ready Workspace, combined with its Getronics Workspace Alliance, for global services, and it currently manages 6 million seats (laptops, thin clients and PCs) on a global basis. Getronics has a chance to provide an important building block to its existing networking capabilities by offering new services from the data centre to the desktop and managing this on an end-to-end basis. Most carriers will need to partner externally to match this offer, while it will be able to provide these services in-house.
The company has also made a number of enhancements to its cloud capabilities combining and integrating new technologies into existing offers through a broker / integrator model.
