Maintenance & Warranty Services are a key component within the Getronics portfolio of integrated ICT services; integral as they are to both workspace solutions and infrastructure services. Getronics continually strives to provide the optimal solution for any customer situation, constantly challenging its support model to provide cost effective solutions for almost every circumstance.

This service provides for the resolution of an incident (or fault) by a skilled engineer at a customer’s location. Through the Service Desk, the root cause analysis of the incident will point to it being either directly hardware related or hardware configuration related and whether it can only be resolved by engineer intervention, either with or without a replacement component.

The effectiveness, efficiency and costs of any managed workspace are critical elements in provisioning successful end to end delivery. The Maintenance and Warranty Service is designed to provide the best cost solution that meets the customer’s needs. The delivered service can be made up of different components dependent upon requirements and the level of infrastructure that requires support. The service currently manages in excess of 14,400 active part numbers, utilises almost 200 field based engineers, handles circa 22,000 visits per month and supports over 50 customers in the UK.

Customers can have confidence and peace of mind that their hardware will be serviced by highly qualified teams who understand the specific requirements of their hardware and have the specialised skills to ensure an effective resolution to any issue.

Getronics are an approved OEM support provider and provide a full managed service for managing OEM specific environments.

Getronics will directly deliver the warranty services for OEM partners and have the accredited engineers to fulfil all warranty service requirements for customers.

Getronics have access to vendor specific information for known issues for hardware and can ensure that customers achieve the highest level of service.

Getronics can also manage the warranty service for a wide range of other OEMs and ensure that the appropriately qualified service engineers are brought in and coordinate the warranty work as necessary with 3rd party service engineers, on behalf of the customer.

This allows Getronics to provide customers with a post-sale warranty end to end solution and provides a simpler and easier solution for customers to manage.

Maintenance and Warranty Services are supported by Getronics’ very cost-effective logistics system for the delivery of replacement components to the engineer or the customer location and retrieving the used component and repairing or replacing it in stock.
